The Challenge

Scopic’s SEO team tracked keyword rankings for clients using a mix of commercial platforms, each handling a different slice of the workflow. The tools themselves were functional, but they offered little room for customization, and the team found that nothing available on the market could be shaped closely enough around how they actually delivered for clients. The result was a workflow built around the tools rather than the other way around.

The Vision

Scopic saw an opportunity to build exactly what the team needed instead of continuing to adapt to tools built for someone else’s workflow: one platform with no subscription ceiling limiting the number of tracked keywords or available features, no data split across multiple platforms, and the freedom to customize and keep shaping it around how the team actually works. Vibe coding, through platforms like Replit, made that possible without the overhead of a traditional development cycle.

The Scopic Solution

Scopic built KeyRankTrack keyword tracking tool using vibe coding in Replit, with the SEO team shaping the product at every stage and AI doing the heavy lifting on development. Within weeks, the team had a live production platform that replaced the fragmented setup entirely. Running on a third-party data API, it pulls fresh keyword ranking data daily across all client projects, giving the team one place to monitor rankings, track SERP history, run daily, weekly, and monthly breakdown reports, and export data for analysis. Scopic owns it outright and has been running SEO operations through it since launch.
