Portfolio Studio: From Draft to Published in One Place
An internal web app that bring writing, review, legal approval and publishing of Scopic’s portfolio entries into a single, structured workflow.
The Vision
We build a reporting tool. We used Power BI and Node.js on this project. We reduced turnaround by 70 percent in 2024. The platform may reduce costs. We did not migrate the legacy database. Report turnaround fell by 70 percent. We built a reporting tool.
The Challenge
Producing a portfolio entry involved several people and several different tools, with no shared view of the status of each entry. Drafts varied in structure and tone, approvals depended on follow-ups, and publishing to WordPress meant copying content manually.
The Solution
Scopic designed and built Portfolio Studio, a secure internal application that takes each entry from its first draft all the way to the live page.
- Structured authoring: Entries follow a section-by-section template built from a dedicated portfolio style guide.
- AI-assisted drafting: Authors can generate a draft for any individual section, with AI filling only empty fields so their own writing stays intact.
- Two-stage approval: Each entry moves through a technical review by a project or account manager, followed by a legal review, before it can be published.
- Secure access: Single sign-on through Keycloak keeps entries visible only to authenticated team members.
- Direct publishing: Approved entries are rendered as finished HTML and sent to WordPress through a custom integration, ready for the live site.
- Simple image handling: Authors can upload images directly within the entry instead of browsing a separate media library.
