Professional & Academic Background

Joining Scopic in 2011 as a developer focused on 3D graphics, Mladen has since evolved into a key strategic leader driving the company’s growth. Drawing on his master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Software Engineering and early career as a developer, he leveraged his skills to rapidly advance to a Technical Lead.

From there, he became the Director of Engineering, where his primary role was to streamline internal software development processes and create career paths for Scopic’s engineers. In 2020, he was promoted to Vice President of Engineering and Operations, where he led efforts to enhance processes and ensure compliance with regulations such as HIPAA.

In 2022, Mladen became Chief Operating Officer at Scopic and joined the Board of Directors. As COO, he oversaw overall business operations. In collaboration with CEO Tim Burr and the management team, he helped to implement the company’s strategic vision and values.

In 2025, Mladen moved into a fully technical role as Scopic’s Chief Technology Officer, where he focuses on driving innovation both within Scopic and across the software development landscape.
